March on the road

Much of March was spent doing what we do best in the event transport niche – supplying our trucking customers with driver-techs. Working with our neighbours round the corner at Moonlite Productions, Entertec provided two 7.5T trucks on different three week itineraries traversing the country, with a carefully crafted driver shift pattern delivering specific skill sets on certain days as required. March also saw us providing PA system services down at the Sport Relief Mile, [...]

Next time you see a JT EventTruck on the road – could we be carrying kit for your favourite artist? [...]

Christmas at St Paul’s

Working with regular customer NSR Communications, our last event before Christmas involved an outside broadcast from St Paul’s Cathedral to a packed Paternoster Square for the annual carol services. Supplying a Midas Pro 2 and a plethora of microphones and cabling infrastructure, our engineers worked alongside the Cathedral Chapter to ensure every syllable uttered throughout each service was relayed through an EAW JFL series compact array to the hundreds of festive punters who couldn’t quite [...]

A very Charitable December

Being the season of goodwill, we were privileged to supply PA system services to Old Country Union’s charity bash “The Big C” – with every penny made on the door going to the Rennie Grove Hospice Care. After a fantastic night of drinking and dancing, in excess of £6000 was raised – the evening was in fact so successful the band is considering making this an annual event! The same night saw us supply complete [...]

Summer 2013 starts in the Channel Islands

Early July saw us team up once again with Guernsey based Joys Production Services, to supply audio and trucking services for a week-long conference in Jersey's Hotel-de-France. A combination of our EAW JFL series array, a Midas Pro 2, and the Joy's extensive Turbosound inventory took care of everything from table top discussions to cabaret jugglers – and we even saw an hour of sunshine after the de-rig! Other early summer activities included involvement with [...]

A very “corporate” May

Always a busy time of year in the corporate market, May 2013 has been no exception. Entertec supplied PA system services to various events in Glasgow, London's Kings Cross Renaissance hotel, Heathrow T5 Hilton, Reading Stadium, Islington's Angel Building, and Café Royale. Far from being left on the sidelines, our trucks have been busy in Brussels, Munich, Paris, Lisbon and Lille, to name a few locations a little more exotic than the regular UK jaunts.

Sultanov Album Launch: April 2013

Music circuit veterans Metropolis Productions Ltd, a long standing client of Entertec, were offered an opportunity to work with Russian-based Dan Sultanov for his upcoming album launch.
